The supercritical fluid extraction is thefluid's thermodynamic state above it's critical point (PC, TC), the fluid hassimilar density of liquid, similar viscosity of gas, it is a good solventbecause of large diffusion coefficient, less viscosity and large dielectricconstant. The Basic process of supercritical fluid extraction is that, materialcontact with supercritical fluid under high pressure and suitable temperature,extracted material go into supercritical fluid, and separate from it after wechange operation condition.

Five different products were successfullyobtained under the same process route by setting different pressure andtemperature parameters after the raw materials were put in. Through analysisand detection, these five products have different aggregation amount,viscosity, molecular weight and boiling point difference, which can be used fordifferent purposes. Through optimization, we can accurately distinguish theprocess parameters required for different products. This research anddevelopment ingeniously utilizes the selectivity of supercritical fluid. TakingCO2 as an example, after exceeding the critical point, with the change ofprocess parameters, the physical and chemical properties of CO2 are constantlychanging, so that it can be adapted to dissolve different target componentsseparately, and then achieve the purpose of separation and purification throughthe change of parameters.

Based on a thorough understanding of theprinciple of supercritical fluid, in the past research and development ofsupercritical fluid extraction process, we often use this principle to designand provide customers with an industrial process route suitable forsupercritical fluid extraction of various target components, so that customerscan get a variety of different extractive products in the same set of devicesafter a single feeding, compared with other traditional extraction andseparation processes. It can simplify the operation process, reduce equipmentinvestment, reduce production costs, increase product types, and ultimatelyhelp customers to obtain greater revenue.
